This is the first game released by our slaves by the special team of our Gang. They are some sort of... half-Saints. (They have some desks in Stilwater, so The Boss bought them). And their name is Volition.

As there's a lot of websites speaking about the story, i'll not spend time writing a new Wikia. I will only speak about the item and my feelings about it.
As i told you, you've got to experiment stuffs by yourself. I'm not here to teach you anything or impose my own vision.

The packaging.

As you can see, it's a steelbook. A golden steelbook shining by thousand twinkling stars made of gold. Such a beautiful item. It's so pleasant to touch it. So soft. And it smells... it smells absolutly nothing.
Anyway, let's open it (listen to the "plop"). Inside, you have the game of course, the notebook and the map!
The Notebook will teach you how to use a joystick but not a real gun. So don't loose your objective: It's essential to train in the street. Citizens will be a big help: They move a lot and aren't that much armed dangerous.

Also, You should better frame the map in the wall of your kitchen. That wasn't made for the dogs and You will need it while you will check your stuffs between two missions.


The Game:
About the game. I have not finish it yet because i'm stuck in a mission where i've got to avoid several waves of enemies who then shoot my Boss with a FUCKING BAZOOKA!! And i've got do this all by myself. Alone. As i use to. Without any mates. (Why do the Saints aren't able to like an ex-Morningstar which is in full redemption?)
Anyway, that's what i like in the two firts games released: That's not too much easy. It's just addictive and makes you want to try and try again until you succeed on your mission.
That's exactly what the Boss expects from you: To try until you will succeed or die.
Got it?

Graphically, game's textures maybe don't look perfect but the environment is absolutly charming. For those who live in Stilwater since the beginning, it will reminds you some great souvenirs as it's the city as it used to be before Ultor change everything.

Another thing i like in that game is that you can give The Boss the face you want.
Though he can't be a woman in the first game, because as you know: The boss was a male when he started to work with the Saints.

You also can chose his daily clothes.
Those aren't as crazy as in the second opus, but it's always interesting to know how the gang you joined was born.
So play it! You won't be disappointed.
